Honor A Veteran William
Hall PFC United States Army Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama William Hall was raised by a single mother in Birmingham, and graduated from high school in 1987. After working for a year at retail stores, he joined the Army in 1989 and was trained as a truck driver at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was then sent to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. William loved the Army and wanted to make a career of it. But in July, 1991 he was killed when a drunk driver hit him while he was riding his bicycle.
