Hometown: Toledo, Ohio
Bob Saxton was born in Fulton, Ohio and raised in Toledo. He joined the
Army and served two tours in Vietnam, one with the famed 1st
Cavalry Division. Bob was awarded the Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, and the
Army Commendation Medal for heroism, among several other decorations
during his long career in the Army. He served in bases both in the United
Sates and Germany before retiring.
After retiring from, the Army, Bob moved to Marionette,
Wisconsin, where he is active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and other
military veterans organizations.
